コレクティブ・新会社「mumyo」設立のお知らせ

作曲家の山根明季子、梅本佑利、ヴァイオリニストの成田達輝は、芸術・現代音楽の活動を目的としたアーティストコレクティブ「mumyo」を設立いたしました。
合同会社無名は、⻄洋音楽を独自の日本式ポップアートとして提示すべく、山根、梅本によって創設された芸術商社です。

コレクティブ名 「mumyo」は、3人の尊敬する音楽家、坂本龍一氏が命名。「枕草子」三巻本89段に登場する琵琶の故事に由来します。

1stプロジェクトでは、ソロ・ヴァイオリンによるフルアルバム発表、コンサート等を展開予定です。

Announcement of formation of “mumyo”

Two composers and a violinist - Akiko Yamane, Yuri Umemoto and Tatsuki Narita - have jointly formed an artist collective “mumyo” with the aim of promoting contemporary music and art.
In this connection, “mumyo llc” has been incorporated by that composers in order to present music as a unique form of Japanese pop art.

The collective was named by Ryuichi Sakamoto. The name “mumyo” was taken from the story about the biwa (a traditional Japanese lute) in Section 89 (Sankanbon edition) of “Makura no Sōshi” (the Pillow Book).

As the initial projects, “mumyo” plans to release an album featuring solo violin, and will hold a concert, etc.
